Hurm. Photobucket is mysteriously resizing my images, though they're not anywhere near their image size limit.

Anybody else having the same problem?

Man versus Nature

I thought that was happening to me a while ago. Never solved the problem, but now I have to be careful of the physical size of a pic as well as the amount of data. Small crops mean giganto, page sizes mean ittybitty words.

Check your account options. Make sure of size (kilobytes, megabytes, whatever) *before* you upload.

You'll be able to upload more on a jpeg if you lower the compression quality. If it's a comic book page, enhancing/darkening can help make up for that if you have the right graphics stuff.

Yeah, I tried cropping to a smaller width and it worked. Very weird. I guess they're checking for dimension size now, too.
