Fanart Cheesecake and Beefcake

via comics blog Man's Adventure, some spectacular cheesecake/beefcake renderings of cartoon characters from the Pulp Faction messageboards. The best are by Chris Wahl, who started the thread. He's posted a summary of his entries here, and several other entries from the contest are included in the gallery here, if you don't feel like paging through the boards.

My favorite is Wahl's drawing of of Nani, the big sister from LILO AND STITCH. It's sexy, silly, and *perfectly* nails the feel -- you look at it and can't help but think that yeah, this is exactly what LILO AND STITCH cheesecake should look like. If, y'know, you're the kind of person to think that sort of thing.

See what I mean?

As an exercise, though, Wahl's male efforts are more impressive. Nani, after all, was kind of hot to begin with, especially for a cartoon. I don't think anybody could say such things of, oh, Popeye the Sailor, or Shaggy from Scooby-Doo. Given that, his achievement on those two is... um, take a look.

He's strong to the finich

Zoinks, indeed.
