Books = yay!

My latest Amazon order has come in. I don't have a lot of net or TV time these days, but I do have time to read. I tend to save up and then splurge on a bunch of books on my wish list, so by the time it arrives I forget exactly what I've ordered and what I decided would wait until next time. Recent acquisitions include gun books and comic-type stuff, including a biography of DC artist Kurt Schaffenberger.

Also reading Doc Savage novels, and working on reviews of those. I think I'm probably going to have to pimp that particular fandom some.

Regarding Robin #150: ...um, yeah. I don't believe it. I mean, one, it's hideously out of character, and Tim is written so in-character it'd be jarring to have another character so wrong. But, two: it'd just be lame. And most of the Batbooks are actually firing on all cylinders these days. Except for NIGHTWING, which is just horribly and incomprehensibly boring and bad. But I'm actually liking Batman as a character again, and that's a big step. (Favorite Batbook is still BIRDS OF PREY, though.)
