and the constant running continues

Tomorrow, I fly up to Canada, where I'll be spending a month in Toronto. I have never been to Canada before, and as I'm sure you all know, we Americans have weird ideas about other nations. For example, I have often heard that Canada is a barely civilized land, full of moose, and that the humans who live there are flannel-clad primitives whose culture consists solely of fire and socialized medicine, and ritual utterance of the word "eh."

I boldly venture forth to prove the truth or folly of these tales, and look forward to crossing the border into that untamed land...
