Me? I've gone through phases where I really wanted TIME BANDITS, or Doc Savage. Lately, I really want ROBOCOP fanfic. I want there to be a big ROBOCOP fandom with lots of stories for me to wade through. My fixation seems to be on a character who doesn't even have a name: Technician #1. She's the woman with big glasses who's in charge of Robocop's physical maintenance, and who runs the team that built him (though she answers to OCP executives; she's just in it for the SCIENCE). She's not a prominent character -- the cops and executives get much more screen time -- but she comes off very well despite her small part in the film. It's interesting to me, too, that Robocop's two most important supports -- Tech #1 and Robo's partner, Lewis -- are both women.
