Out of nowhere, I've suddenly got one of the weirdest sicknesses I've ever had. I noticed my voice sounded a little hoarse yesterday. It was hoarser this morning, and now I feel like I'm made out of cement. Head, chest, limbs. Very, very weird. It feels almost like I feel when I have the flu, except I'm not running a fever. I just ran *insanely* down over the course of the day.

Anybody else catching something like this?

That sounds nearly identical to the viral bronchitis I had back in Feb. Nearly 24 hour onset, from perfectly fine to no voice. I never ran a fever, but I was unable to get out of bed for 4 days and couldn't talk for 3.

Sounds dandy.

No fever, and I can get out of bed haltingly, but I really can't do much. So sounds about right.

Sounds like viral bronchitis to me, too. I'm sure you don't have time for this, but if you spend at least one day in bed you will get better faster. If you try to work through it it will last longer.

Thanks, doc. Yeah, I'm not going anywhere for at least a day.

Sounds similar to what I had a few weeks ago. It was going around work. I felt crappy for a couple days, then I was stuck in bed for about three days. No fun, but after the last day I bounced right back.

Of course, now that that's finally gone, I'm coming down with a cold. Argh. IT'S NOT WINTER ANYMORE I SHOULDN'T HAVE A RUNNY NOSE ALL THE TIME.

Anyway, hope this passes quickly and you feel better soon.
