APED: "pol pot and hitler and stalin and mao"

Pol Pot and Hitler and Stalin and Mao
fought over who had been crueler, and how,
and who should applaud, and which one should bow,
Pol Pot and Hitler and Stalin and Mao.

Gandhi and Mother Teresa and King
heard how they argued, but said not a thing,
and waited to see what the squabble would bring,
Gandhi and Mother Teresa and King.

Devils and angels made bets on the fight,
and who would be left at the end of the night,
and whether the winner would really be right,
Devils and angels made bets on the fight.

Pol Pot and Hitler and Stalin and Mao
decided their dignity would not allow
a possible loss, so they're friendly for now,
Pol Pot and Hitler and Stalin and Mao.
