APED: "septic tank woes"

Water, water, everywhere --
on the lawn, and in your hair
(if, that is, the ceiling leaks).
The rain keeps up for weeks and weeks.
All the earthworms must have drowned,
the water's high and all around,
be careful, for the ground is mush --
but here's the worst part: I can't flush.
