CASS. "Need more martial arts DVDs."
ALFRED. "I am afraid you've watched them all. Perhaps Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers?"
CASS. *becomes ballroom dancing fiend*
CHARITY BALL PLOT. *happens*
CASS. *tangoes with Commissioner Gordon*
BRUCE AND CASS. *tango*
BABS. "Hey, Robin? Don't go back to the Batcave for a while."
The light was on under Alfred's door, and Cassandra Cain had learned that if the light was on, it was okay to knock.
She knocked twice. After a moment, she heard movement from within. The door opened partway, and Alfred Pennyworth peered out. He was wearing his pajamas and a dressing gown. And slippers.
Cass had given him the slippers for Christmas.
"Need movies," she said.
"Ah," said Alfred. "'Need movies.' Is that, perhaps, your way of saying that you have, at last, exhausted the manor's collection of martial arts films?"
Cass nodded. "Need movies," she said. "More."
"Yes, well," said Alfred, "I am afraid that we've quite exhausted the supply. I myself would have thought it impossible to run through the entirety of the Shaw Brothers ouerve, but it would appear to have been accomplished. Likewise, Mr. Chan's and Mr. Hung's films, even the most dreadful ones, all the others of Golden Harvest and rival studios, and no, Mr. Jaa has not yet finished ONG BAK 2, any more than he had the last time you asked that question."
"Like Tony Jaa," Cass said stubbornly.
"So do a great number of the people of the world. Yet he persists in taking his time to finish his film. It seems he does not know why he should hurry for you."
Cass shrugged. "I'm Batgirl?"
"Perhaps Mr. Jaa has not considered that, along with the rest of the world, Batgirl is waiting too."
(How long was this a WiP? TONY JAA HAS ACTUALLY FINISHED ONG BAK 2.)
