APED: "rapunzel"

Rapunzel, living in her tower,
looked down at the men below,
sometimes throwing down a spitball --
did they hit? She didn't know.

Rapunzel washed her hair twice daily,
braided it till it was strong,
cut off the braid, climbed out the window --
she'd owned her rescue all along.
