I told you not to come tonight.
Yes, I was abroad so long,
we're married but a day, that's right.
You think you know me. But you're wrong.

It happened while I was away.
I walked the forest late at night --
it's not as safe as scholars say.
There are beasts. They're real. They bite.

I told you, husband, begged you, wait--
you couldn't wait until the sun?!
It doesn't matter. It's too late.
The moon is rising -- best you run.
