APED: "snack"

A man who ate an airplane once
got hungry for a little more
and so he thought he'd eat a ship
and waded in, well out to shore,
but as he lurked with open maw,
a large oil platform caught his eye,
so he tore it down and ate it raw
and gorged himself till he was full --
this week he says he'll eat the world.
