APED: "nature's wisdom"

Don't bear hug a porcupine,
'cause they don't like it much.
Don't snuggle with a rattlesnake:
the rattle says "don't touch."
A sleeping dog might rouse and bite
so you just let him be --
you leave them critters to themselves,
and don't you pester me.
