APED: "family"

We are the freaks of the Bosmore circus,
hey nonny hey nonny hey hi ho,
come in the tent and meet our chorus,
hey nonny hey nonny hey hi ho.

Einar the dwarf and the dog-faced Jojo,
fat lady Wilma, skeleton Bob,
pinheaded Zip and her two-headed dachshund,
and those are the ones who aren't that odd.

Leslie's a girl with her face in her navel,
Nero has eyes where your fingernails are,
Boudicca's hair is like snakes, and dear Mabel
has a stone, which she'll show you, in place of a heart.

And when you pass them, shut your eyes. Harder, tighter.
Some things should be seen, once or twice, I suppose,
but they take getting used to, and our last's such a creature --
he keeps people, sometimes. Why he does it, God knows.

But he keeps off the law, and the prudes and the pranksters.
He might even eat them. Who knows? Who can say?
We're a tentload of freaks, and our last is a monster,
and we're happy, oh, happy, SO happy this way.

We are the freaks of the Bosmore circus,
hey nonny hey nonny hey hi ho,
come in the tent and meet our chorus,
hey nonny hey nonny hey hi ho.
