APED: "fragment of an ancient poem"

He came from the left to the Mushroom Kingdom,
Mario, white-fingered, red of hat,
and ran it's breadth once, again, again,
leaping on invaders, breaking bricks,
filling his purse with loot,
and conquering its castles, each in turn,
stopping to pick flowers along his way.
